I delivered a session on the D...really interesting! I delivered a session on the DTE(E)LLS course last week on digital literacy and it got me starting to think more about wikipedia, in terms of it's showing in Google, the accuracy of information and acceptance as an academically sound referencing tool.<br />Since then (a week is such a short time!) it seems to be popping up as discussions all over my PLN. I would normally steer clear of wikipedia personally, and recommend the same to my trainees, but I am certainly open to being challenged on this. For example last week in class the trainees compared their own definitions of digital literacy to those reported on the wikipedia page. <br />If a first step is to read wikipedia, what would it take for me to be one of the few women to edit an entry?Quiet Dancerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00403783045879763821noreply@blogger.com
